SEA VIET TRIP respects privacy and processes personal data only to the extent necessary, transparently, securely, and in accordance with Vietnamese law.

1. Data We May Collect

  • Full name, telephone number, email address, postal address, and other contact information provided by the customer.
  • Booking information: service, service date, number of guests, order number, notes, and support history.
  • Payment information to the extent necessary to confirm payment or issue a refund. Poseidon does not ask customers to store or provide passwords, OTPs, or PINs.
  • Technical data such as IP address, device/browser type, cookies, access logs, and language/currency preferences.

2. Purposes and Scope of Use

Data is used to create and confirm orders; provide services; contact customers for support; process changes, cancellations, refunds, and complaints; ensure safety and prevent fraud; operate, secure, and improve the website; and comply with accounting, tax, reporting, and lawful authority requirements.

Data is not used for direct advertising unless the customer has opted in or the law otherwise permits it. Customers may refuse or withdraw consent for marketing purposes at any time.

3. Legal Basis and Consent

Poseidon processes data on the basis of customer consent, to perform a requested transaction or service, comply with legal obligations, or protect lawful rights and interests as permitted by law. Before submitting an order, the customer can access this policy and choose to provide the necessary information.

4. Parties That May Access Data

Data is shared only as necessary with authorized personnel; providers of website hosting, email, customer service, WooCommerce operations, technical analytics, or payment services; partners directly involved in delivering the service; and competent authorities when required by law. Data processors must maintain confidentiality and process data only within their assigned scope.

5. Retention Period

Data is retained for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes above, resolve disputes, and meet mandatory retention periods under accounting, tax, and electronic transaction laws. When the retention period expires or no lawful purpose remains, the data is deleted, destroyed, or anonymized through appropriate procedures.

6. Cookies

The website uses necessary cookies to maintain the cart, language, currency, login session, and security, and may use measurement cookies to improve the experience. Customers can adjust cookie settings in their browser, but some booking functions may not operate fully.

7. Customer Rights

To the extent permitted by law, customers have the right to be informed; give or withdraw consent; access and request a copy of their data; request correction, updating, deletion, or restriction of processing; object to processing; lodge complaints or reports; bring legal proceedings; and claim compensation. Some requests may be limited where data must be retained to perform a contract or comply with a legal obligation.

8. Security and Incidents

Poseidon applies access controls, authorization, backups, and appropriate technical and organizational measures to prevent unauthorized access, use, alteration, or loss of data. When an incident that may affect customers is detected, Poseidon will contain and remedy it and notify the relevant authorities and customers within the legally required timeframe.
